Description
This itinerary is one of the most famous hikes in the Sibillini Mountains due to the presence of the only natural lake in the Marche region, a relic of the glacier that occupied the valley during the last ice age.
From the small hamlet of Foce, the route crosses the Gardosa plain and steadily ascends the valley until reaching the shores of Pilato Lake. The beauty and magic of the surroundings will provide the backdrop for tales and stories linked to this spectacular place.
Return journey follows the same route.
