Following the sandals footsteps of St. Francis and the frescoes by Giotto and Perugino, a great crossing of mystical places From the historic, world-class city of Naples we set out to learn about the power of nature with a hike to the awe-inspiring crater of Mount Vesuvius, followed by a tour of the ancient city of Pompeii. The Amalfi Coast’s dramatic cliffs and rugged coastal scenery provide a perfect backdrop for exploring by foot. Then the Isle of Capri where we walk the island’s scenic trails to discover the island’s dramatic coastline, dotted with tiny coves and grottoes. Our adventure culminates in vibrating Naples

Day 1 – The Amalfi Coast
Day 2 – Amalfi
In the morning, we head off to the paper museum of Amalfi for a discovery of the ancient technique of the paper production. After lunch a gentle excursion will allow us to enjoy the views over the coast There is free time for shopping, sampling gelato, or perhaps trying Limoncello, a locally famous liqueur made from the zest of local lemons.
Day 3 – Hike the spectacular "Path of the Gods" to colorful Positano
Path of the Gods’s day. This aptly-named trail offers remarkable views across the Tyrrhenian Sea to the Isle of Capri. The path ends at the hamlet of Nocelle (1510’). From here we tranfer to Positano for a relaxing lunch. This afternoon we’ll stroll the streets past ceramic shops and fruit stands with locally grown lemons. Dinner on the terrace of a pizzeria presents outstanding views of the vibrant sunset
Day 4 – The fortini trail
In the morning we take a boat to the nearby Capri island. Private transfer to the lighthouse for picnic and sea bath before starting the “fortini trail” leading us towards the famous blue cave. Time and queue permitting, we can enter into the cave. Free time before dinner.
Day 5 – Capri
Breakfast and bus to Capri. Time to explore and discover all the secrets of the island: Grotta di Matermania, the Natural Arch and the faraglioni during a treasure hunt. Pic nic and free time for shopping or swim
Day 6 – Naples vibrant city
Vibrant, chaotic, classically Italian, historic Naples invites travellers to discover its vast assortment of world-class museums, atmospheric neighbourhoods and fabulous restaurants.
Day 7 – Vesuvius and Pompei
Private transfer to Mount Vesuvius to climb to the crater for a view inside the steaming hole. Then private transfer to Ercolano on the slope of Mount Vesuvius where, after visit and lunch of a typical wine producing farm, we will continue to Pompeii for a guided visit of the sleeping city. Transfer back to Naples. We gather again this evening for a special dinner: we make our own authentic Neapolitan pizzas with a professional “pizzaiolo”!
Day 7 – Departure
