Hermitage of Colle San Marco, Fried Foods (olive all'Ascolana), and cultural visit of Ascoli Piceno
An evening discovering the natural, architectural, and historical beauties of Ascoli Piceno.
Early afternoon, a historical and naturalistic excursion among the woods and limestone rocky walls of Colle San Marco, exploring the ruins of the convent of San Lorenzo, the cave of Blessed Corrado, and finally the splendid hermitage of San Marco, which we'll also visit inside, literally "hanging" on the rock.
At the end, we'll drive to Ascoli Piceno (paid covered parking), meet with the guide for a tourist visit to the monuments and most interesting areas of the historic center of Ascoli.
Following this, we'll relax and taste stuffed olives and fried foods seated in the most spectacular square, Piazza del Popolo.
Dinner based on fried foods is not included.
