It is always wonderful to go hiking with a guide or someone more experienced than us, but sometimes it is also fun to “get lost” and play at “finding our way back”! This is certainly a great opportunity for outdoor lovers, hikers, curious explorers, and anyone who appreciates excellent local products.
We will begin with a short introduction to map reading and learn how to use a compass* and set bearings (azimuths), before “getting lost” and searching for a route through a practical outdoor navigation exercise.
Those who do not get lost will have the chance to taste the products of the “I Tre Filari” farm!
The owners of I Tre Filari Agricultural Farm will guide us through tastings of their wine and olive oil. At the end, you will be able to visit the shop and purchase the products you have just tasted. Tasting fee: €5.00, to be paid directly at the farm.
*Compasses will be provided by the organisers for the practical activity.
