A simple hike taking place entirely in the valley and on the first gentle hills around Montemarciano. We will explore this lesser-known area, rich in environmental value, represented by the alluvial plain.
Walking among cultivated fields and hygrophilous vegetation, we will take a step back in time to when wetlands dominated this landscape. We will discover the natural processes that created the alluvial plains and how they have been transformed and shaped by humans through land reclamation, roads, and other structures.
