Enjoy a pleasant walk through the heart of Civitanova Marche. Starting from the 19th-century Palazzo Sforza Cesarini, we will make our way to the Sesto Bruscantini Gardens and then to the famous Liberty-style villas of Lido Cluana. It was here, at the beginning of the 20th century, that the fashionable tradition of going to the beach first took hold. As we stroll along, we will step back in time to the elegant world of aristocratic seaside holidays.
After passing through the Varco sul Mare, we will continue into the old fishing district, the authentic soul of the city, originally built to house the port's workers. Passing by the Old Fish Market (Vecchia Peschiera) and the fish market, we will reach the southern pier to admire the colourful seawalls created as part of the "Vedo a Colori" project.
This open-air museum of murals celebrates sailors, women and poets, offering unforgettable glimpses into the city's rich maritime identity.
