Valle dei Grilli: a journey through caves, the church and the gorge

Valle dei Grilli is a unique place throughout Le Marche region. The route unfolds through fascinating landscapes with a prehistoric atmosphere where, surrounded by lush nature, caves and ancient structures emerge, such as the medieval monastic complex of Sant’Eustacchio, built into the rocky cliffs.

After crossing the gorge, the trail continues along the original Via Lauretana, offering spectacular views over the Val di Chienti below.

Requirements
Good physical fitness and previous hiking experience are required.
Ability to walk on narrow trails with mixed surfaces, including gravel and grass.
Children and teenagers: yes, from 12 years old.

Dogs: Allowed on a leash.
