Enjoy a pleasant hike around the shores of Lake Castreccioni, the reservoir created by the Cingoli Dam. We will follow grassy paths and dirt trails through a remarkably scenic landscape, reminiscent of the wild beauty of vast wetlands, where biodiversity thrives.
This unique habitat is home to grey herons, little egrets, cormorants, moorhens, and the magnificent kingfisher. These birds will accompany us along the easy, mostly flat trail that winds beside the lake, passing through hygrophilous woodlands, wild fruit trees and shrubs, rural landscapes, and the ruins of an ancient fortress overlooking the water.
