The Canfaito Forest and its Magic

Starting from Aie di Macciano, the hike winds through the valley leading up to the Canfaito plateau. After passing through the evocative Sasso Forato, we continue immersed in the autumn colors of the maple and oak forest, which then gives way to the majestic beech trees of Canfaito. The hike continues to the lookout point where we can admire the entire Camerino syncline, the Sibillini Mountains and the Gola della Rossa natural reserve. A visit to the oldest beech tree in the region is a must before returning through the Acqua dell'Olmo valley.
