Description

An unforgettable experience: sunrise from Monte Vettore, the highest peak in the Sibillini Mountains.

We will set off in the dark, wearing headlamps, gradually gaining elevation as we make our way to the summit. Hiking this trail entirely at night, beneath a star-filled sky and surrounded by the Sibillini Mountains in their most evocative and unusual setting, creates a truly unique atmosphere.

After a short break at Tito Zilioli Bivouac, we will reach the summit, take some time to rest, and wait for sunrise from one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Central Italy.

From the top, a breathtaking 360° panorama unfolds: from the Laga Mountains to the Gran Sasso, across the entire Umbrian-Marche Apennines, all the way to the rolling hills of the Marche region and, on clear days, the Adriatic Sea.
