From Elcito to Canfaito, following the traces of mighty monks

We will ascend to the Canfaito plateau passing through the Abbey of Valfucina, which for over a thousand years owned and managed it, shaping the extraordinary appearance that we see today. After a stop at the centuries-old beech tree, we will climb Mount Pulcino, a small and lesser-known peak, but a perfect terrace overlooking the sea and the Sibillini Mountains, which seem very close on clear days. On the way back, the trail will offer us new views of the village of Elcito, known as the little Tibet of the Marche, which we will visit at the end of our itinerary.
