Description

The day will begin with a stop that alone is worth the journey: the village’s historic bakery. Here, surrounded by delicious aromas and stories passed down through three generations, we will taste traditional sweets that have become famous even internationally, discovering the stories and traditions that make them unique.

We will then continue through the village streets to the Terracotta Museum, a symbol of local identity. After a short guided visit, we will experience the highlight of the day: a hands-on workshop where we will shape terracotta with our own hands, creating a personal object. The object will be fired when the kiln is next lit, which may not necessarily be on the day of our workshop. In this case, it can be collected personally at a later date.

In the afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in nature: together with the nature guide, we will set off on an easy hike along unpaved roads and countryside trails. A relaxing route rich in discoveries, through clay landscapes, caves, and stories spanning centuries — from the Byzantines to the 19th-century bandits.

Packed lunch during the hike: everyone should bring their own.

A complete experience combining flavours, creativity, and nature, perfect for those who want to discover a Marche village in an authentic way.

Perched on a hill at 419 metres above sea level, in the heart of the Pesaro hinterland, Fratte Rosa is one of those villages that leaves a lasting impression: small, authentic, and rich in a unique history. Located between the Cesano and Metauro valleys, this ancient medieval village — once known as the “capital of Ravignana” — still preserves a strong identity waiting to be discovered.
