Description

Hike to the Roof of the Sibillini Mountains to reach the highest peak of the massif, Monte Vettore, standing at 2,476 meters.
This is one of the most well-known and panoramic hikes in the Sibillini Mountains, due to its proximity to extraordinary places such as the valley of Lake Pilato and the plateau of Castelluccio di Norcia.
The views are spectacular in all directions: from the Monti della Laga and Gran Sasso, to the Umbrian-Marchigian Apennines, from the highest peaks of the Sibillini Mountains to the Marchigian hills and the Adriatic Sea.
